The film follows Chun (voice of Guanlin Ji), a 16-year-old girl from a mystical realm who is transported to the human world in the form of a dolphin. While there, she comes across a kind young boy who drowns while attempting to save her after she gets caught in a fishing net. Desperate to bring him back to life, Chun makes a deal with the soul keeper of her realm which allows her to take the boy back to the human world in the form of a baby dolphin. If she is able to protect him and nurture him to adulthood, she will be able to bring him back to life in his human form once more.
